Job description
Hermes Medical Solutions Canada is looking for a Systems & Clinical Applications Specialist to join our growing North American team. This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about Nuclear Medicine, PET imaging, clinical applications, and customer engagement.
In this role, you will work directly with hospitals, imaging centers, physicians, technologists, and IT teams across Canada and North America to support the successful implementation and clinical use of HMS software solutions. You will provide customer training, workflow optimization, applications support, system configuration, and ongoing relationship management while collaborating closely with our global team of experts.
This position is ideal for candidates with a background in Nuclear Medicine Technology, PET/CT imaging, Radiography, Clinical Science, or Medical Physics who enjoy combining clinical expertise with technology and customer interaction.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver on-site and remote customer support for HMS software solutions
- Conduct clinical applications training and education for end users
- Perform application installation, configuration, and workflow optimization
- Support diagnostic imaging system integration and customer implementations
- Conduct annual customer service and application review visits
- Collaborate with customers to optimize software performance and resolve issues
- Assess and document customer satisfaction and clinical performance
- Support product demonstrations, workshops, conferences, and commercial exhibitions
- Work closely with clinical, technical, and commercial teams across North America and globally
- Assist in promoting adoption of new software applications and workflows
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Clinical experience performing common Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures
- Working knowledge of medical imaging workflows and image analysis
- Understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and molecular imaging principles
- Knowledge of PET/CT acquisition, reconstruction, and data processing
- Experience with diagnostic imaging systems installation, integration, and support
- Strong interest in IT systems, networking, and healthcare software technologies
- Ability to explain and demonstrate software applications and imaging workflows clearly
- Excellent communication, presentation, teaching, and documentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a global expert team
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Canada and North America (approximately 30%, including occasional weekends)
