Job description
Hermes Medical Solutions is looking for an Application Specialist to join our growing company and work with software products that make a difference. You will be part of the HMS Global team of experts with focus on our EMEA & APAC (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa & Asia and Pacific) markets together with the local team.
Summary
As an Application Specialist at Hermes Medical Solutions, you will provide customer support, application installation and configuration and customer training at leading hospitals and clinics within both the public and private healthcare sector. Successful candidates will be flexible and dynamic in their approach to what is a challenging, diverse and rewarding role. This role would best suit individuals with experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Radiographer or Clinical Scientist/Physicist. In particular we are looking for someone with a PET and Nuclear Medicine background.
Key responsibilities:
- Customer Support, both on-site and remote
- Application configuration and training
- Undertaking customer annual service visits
- Opportunity for further development of your role in sales support and product demos
Requirements:
- Have a working knowledge of Medical Imaging, preferably with experience in the field of Nuclear Medicine
- Have an understanding of Nuclear Medicine workflow, including an appreciation of the different patient examinations and the corresponding image processing and data analyses
- Be able to work independently, but with the confidence to seek support from your expert colleagues as required
- Be confident taking ownership of customer problems and be proactive and open in coordinating and implementing the solutions in a thorough and systematic manner
- Have excellent communication and documentation skills in English
- Have a good working knowledge of computers and software
- Knowledge of the physics of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT camera acquisition and data reconstruction is advantageous
- The position is for full time employment
- Ideally you will be based at our Stockholm office, however remote position within the Nordic or BeNeLux regions will be considered for the right candidate
- The role includes frequent travel within EMEA & APAC, but predominately within Europe
