JADE™
HERMES JADE™ (JAva Dicom Explorer) is a combined patient browser/viewer Windows-based software package that offers a multiple framed viewing environment which can display medical images from Radiology & Nuclear Medicine (CT, MRI, planar Radiography, Ultrasound, SPECT & PET). JADE can communicate directly with HERMES NM/PET Workstations, DICOMDir CDs and/or DICOM servers in order to view stored studies providing a PACS/DICOM gateway to existing PACS installations. JADE can interface with HERMES GOLD or other DICOM servers via the web in order to access, view and store DICOM & Interfile studies securely (http/https protocols; allowing secure access via firewalls) from anywhere over the Internet. JADE displays multiple frames in both greyscale and color for all imaging modalities. All Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and PET study types are supported, including Gated MRI & Dynamic PET.
JADE Browser is the control center that reads data, stores data and starts the viewing applications (JADE, RAPID, etc.)
