RAPID™ PC - Run Anywhere Patient Image Display
HERMES RAPID PC is installed on the PC, networked to read files and is an application for the display & analysis of PET, NM, CT, MRI & Ultrasound studies and Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) movie data. It is packaged as a standalone PC application together with patient data on an AES (256-bit) enrypted CD, written on HERMES, to provide a secure, self-contained viewing and analysis package for distribution to users who do not have direct access to an image server. RAPID provides a MIP movie and splash display, and can also show three orthogonal views simultaneously, with cross-modality image fusion capability, image reorientation, volume of interest (VOI) generation and standard uptake value (SUV) calculation. Your preferences may be saved to the PC so that subsequent studies & CD contents are loaded & viewed in the way you want.
RAPID viewing software is installed on a windows-based PC running NT, 2000 or XP, with at least 256MB memory
